Standing in the shadows, I could hear the Angels sing 
As their voices filled the night, something stirred inside of me 
With ten thousand watts of power, sounding out the Angels song 
I could see the stars before me, as the light began to call 

Follow your heart, follow your dream          
The light is your life, your destiny

I often find myself on the edge, waiting to be received
Incense and white candles burning out, who am I to believe       Their voices sounding so distant now, their message so unclear Everything I ever wanted somehow, has become everything I fear

From nothing to nothing, into this world I was thrown
Nothing to nothing, from this life I'm torn
Nothing to nothing, what will become of me
Ashes to ashes, to be or not to be 

I am forever bound in disbelief, to a truth I can not see                 Forever falling from light to dark, the Answer is just out of reach The burden of a soliloquy, to be or not to be                                      Alone I shuffle off this mortal coil, to face an eternity

With every breath  that I breath                                                                  I thank God I came to be                                                                        But if this world turns endlessly                                                                 I ask God what will become of me when I cease to be

Like sand washes to the sea of blue 
And with each crashing wave 
Another day breaks for me and you 

If I asked you to believe 
In a world you could not see
